Your files stay yours
FileCurve is built around a simple rule. Files you upload are never stored long term. Most tools run entirely inside your browser, which means the file never leaves your device in the first place. A small set of heavier tools, such as PDF compression and video conversion, run on temporary Vercel function storage. Those files are deleted within one hour of the job completing, and are never backed up, indexed, or reviewed by a human.
Accounts and personal data
FileCurve does not require an account. You do not need to give us your name, email, or phone number to use the free tools. If you buy a Pro plan we collect the billing email supplied to our payment processor and a record of the plan you own. That is the only personal data we hold.
Analytics and logs
We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and measure load times in aggregate. It does not track individuals across sites or set identifying cookies. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived access logs (IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp) to protect the service from abuse. These are rotated on the hosting provider's standard schedule.
Advertising
FileCurve may display advertising from Google AdSense or other networks. Ad partners may use cookies to personalise ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised ads through Google's ad settings page or your browser's privacy controls.
Children
FileCurve is a general audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
